does the ocean long for me too? was a question I asked myself during moments of deep yearning for the sea, for silence, for space to breathe. Nature and life have gifted me many beautiful things, but they have also confronted me with difficult seasons and heavy emotions. The first show I dedicated it to honor the love and devotion of my parents. Their commitment to their work, to each other, and to our family through everything we experienced together. I’ve always loved the title because it captures the feeling of longing for something unknown. A distant place or emotion, while the mind is filled with both excitement and curiosity about the "Ferne". For this show, I invited ogtrues to collaborate with me. Over the past year, he has been someone I’ve shared many conversations with about life, death, longing and the ways these feelings can be translated into music. Long before meeting him in person, what fascinated me most was the emotional honesty in his production, the way he transforms inner experiences and vulnerability into sound.
