Black Sonic Delights: An Ode to Joy | Nzambisa & Ami Wokloni

Black Sonic Delights is a new radio show series centering on playfulness, groove, and Black Joy. Hosted by your favorite vinyl duo, Ami Wokloni and Nzambisa, each episode will feature music from the African continent and its diasporas through a thematic, Afro-diasporic, feminist lens. Staying true to ourselves, we will highlight renowned and less known emblematic figures of Black Music in analogue format, nonetheless in our very special way: laughing, dancing, frolicking.

To start this new chapter on a delightful note, we're exploring in this prologue the meaning of joy, putting together a selection of tunes that bring warmth to our hearts, shivers to our skin, and smiles to our faces. Because good things are meant to be shared, we wanted to celebrate this memorable beginning with friends and family. Come along and enjoy a groovy, smiling hour of listening!
