Producer/DJ and laptop music geek kidkanevil has developed a distinctive and progressive sound over the years, gleefully joining the dots between beats, bass, hip-hop, jazz, jungle, anime OSTs, video game music, and beyond.

This month, he is joined by special guest Mount XLR, the Seoul-based electronic musician whose sound organically fuses the energy of hip-hop with the experimental elements of IDM and UK Bass music. Such a unique approach led him to collaborate with a wide range of both underground and mainstream artists, including Hudson Mohawke, Crush, Aespa, Kim Ximya, and So!YoON! In 2023, Mount XLR was nominated for Best Electronic Song at the Korean Music Awards, solidifying his influence within the country’s electronic music scene.
