Tengal is an artist, composer, filmmaker, and cultural instigator whose practice connects sonic research with curatorial projects that span art, science, and society through performances, installations, and collaborative labs. He founded SABAW Media Art Kitchen and WSK Festival Of The Recently Possible, and has pioneered platforms for new media and sound art in the Philippines and the region. He also co-founded the international music platform NUSASONIC and his curatorial work with institutions like the Japan Foundation Asia Center, CTM Festival, and PHØNIX16 Ensemble, SONICA Festival, and the Museum of Transitory Art Ljubljana, among others aim to deepen the ongoing cross-cultural dialogues between Southeast Asia and global networks.
