Sourodeep Guha aka Stain is a Delhi-based electronic music producer and DJ whose work is deeply rooted in sound system culture. Known for his dark, gritty, and bass-heavy productions, Stain's music carries a distinct sonic identity that resonates with underground dancefloors globally. His work has garnered international recognition and support from genre-defining artists such as Om Unit, dBridge, Zed Bias, Mala, among many others. As a DJ, Stain has mastered the art of reading the room—seamlessly blending his unique musical perspective with the energy of the crowd. Whether at a club night or a festival, he effortlessly strikes a balance between introducing fresh, forward-thinking sounds and delivering what the audience craves, all with a touch of finesse and precision. Previously, he co-founded Sub-Z, a Delhi-based bass collective known for their boundary-pushing raves. He was also a part of independent radio culture in India, working as both a sound engineer and radio manager at boxout.fm. Having traveled and performed around the world, Stain holds a clear understanding of the roles both a DJ and a producer play: a great DJ connects with the crowd in the moment, while a great producer creates music that the audience can truly resonate with.
