sāda

sāda (ﺳﺎدة ) is a Palestinian musician, composer, and vocalist. Born and raised in Nazareth, she received her first guitar at age 11 as a gift from her mother—despite limited resources around her. Early on, she drew inspiration from traditional Arabic music as well as global alternative sounds. Her work now fuses alternative electronic production, folk elements, and experimental soundscapes. Growing up amid turbulence, she found refuge in sound, carving her own path while keeping music at the center of her life. Based in Berlin, sāda’s music thrives at intersections: between local and transnational musical worlds, personal and collective memory, and solo and collaborative creation. She layers vocals, textured electronics, and field recordings into intricate, emotionally resonant compositions that reflect the complexity of her life and surroundings
