Rory Sweeney

Rory Sweeney is an artist and music producer from Dublin. At only 25, Rory is one of Ireland’s most lauded and respected artists, rising to prominence in Ireland and the UK for his eclectic catalog and high energy AV shows, defined by glitchy electronics and cinematic balladry. Rory’s work has grown to define the genres that he works in, pushing & shaping the boundaries of Irish sound in his partnerships including SELLO, Curtisy, Pippa Molony, SLOUCHO and Kojaque. This has seen him tapped for production by the likes of Cosha, Gemma Dunleavy, Lord Apex and Mavi. After making history in 2024 by releasing the highly acclaimed first of its kind 'all-Ireland' collaborative Hip-Hop album 'Irish Hash Mafia' under the pseudonym Carlos Danger (included on AOTY lists by Nialler9, District Magazine, The Thin Air and Cork Echo) as well as receiving a nomination for the RTÉ Choice Prize for his work on Irish breakout rap artist Curtisy’s debut album, Entrance Places signals the next iteration of Rory Sweeney, and holds open the door to a new world the Artist has created, earnest and mind melting in equal measure
