Rola Azar is the captivating voice of modern Palestinian folk. Born in Nazareth, Palestine, she was academically and musically trained at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Her career is highlighted by performances in prestigious venues worldwide, from Qatar Opera House to London's City Theater. Rola's music combines tradition and contemporary elements, mirroring her serene yet powerful voice.
She released her debut album in collaboration with Lebanese Composer and Oud musician Ziad Sahab in Beirut and is gearing up for her second album, rooted in the Palestinian sonic heritage. Following in the footsteps of her father Milad Azar, Rola is committed to preserving traditional songs through using her music to fortify Palestinian identity across the world.
