(With the guidance of Channel One Sound System, one of the UK’s best known and most loved reggae sound systems) And with the help of a unique and diverse crew of people from many places around Colombia and some immigrants from Venezuela. Ricardo Vega created El Gran Latido Sound System, using the power of speakers, reggae culture, and shared experiences of music and dance to bring together communities in the peripheral barrios of Bogotá, while also providing a soundtrack to Colombia’s vibrant protest movement.
