QUEEN Lizzy

At the age of 13, Lise-Christine Kobla Mendama became a member of "Afro Jugend München." This independent youth organization focuses on empowerment within the Afro-German community and was involved in organizing the largest Black Lives Matter demonstration in Germany in Munich in 2020. There, she delivered a life-changing speech to the 25,000 attendees. Following the media hype, she created new creative pathways as a freelancer and has since performed under the stage name "QUEEN Lizzy" on major stages (Hype Festival, Residenztheater Munich, Oben Ohne Festival, Olympiastadion Munich, Muffathalle, Ampere, etc.).

In 2022, she gave a TEDx Talk on the topic "Using Dissatisfaction as a Driving Force" and was named Munich's Person of the Year by Bavarian Broadcasting in the same year.
