Shaking up the scene since 2014, »Poetry Meets« is a creative space for artists who identify themselves in the framework of Love, Peace and Togetherness. The platform showcases contemporary interplays of poetry, live music, visuals and movement art. Founded by curator and artistic director Jumoke Adeyanju, »Poetry Meets« is an international, multilingual community event series that presents poets, musicians, dancers, short films and lyrically endowed artists from Berlin and around the world. Celebrating their 10th anniversary, they published their debut anthology, Togetherness (Archive Books), featuring poetic interludes by 40 artists in English, German, Swahili, Korean, Twi, German Sign Language, and more.
