Penelope

Penelope is a passionate traveller and digger, always with a thirst for new horizons to fuel her creativity. Born and bred in Paris, Penelope’s sound is a unique expression of her broad sonic tastes that range from house, techno, minimal, breakbeat, ambient, funk, and all electronic experimentation.

Her passion for electronic music took a more serious approach after she came back from a year living in New York city in 2009, where she took her first steps in the local rave scene. In 2013 she finally bought her first turntables and has since then continued to refine her taste around the deep and dub-influenced sound she loves.

After living a couple of years in Berlin, she now settled in Lisbon where she plays regularly as well as spending time in the studio. She made her production debut early 2021 on the spanish label Tresydos.
