Paurro

Paulina Rodriguez aka Paurro is a professional DJ and producer based in Mexico City. She has been DJing for over 12 years.

In 2018, Paurro consecrated as a central figure in her hometown of Mexico City, where she made name for herself through her job as booker, programmer and host for community radio station. This helped her to start to get noticed by the music industry and was invited to play at major mexican festivals such as Tropico and Bahidorá and clubs in South America like Videoclub Bogotá, Calle Nueve in Medellin and Primavera Fauna in Santiago.

She regularly hosted masterclasses and workshops to teach aspiring DJs and producers about the art of DJing and music production.

In 2021, she met the music producer and label owner of Cómeme Matias Aguayo, soon after that they started to play together and Pau got invited to be the manager of the label. Later she released her first EP called Galavision in her now home label.

Her talent for production as well as DJing have earned year-end “best of” list spots for prominent electronic music publications like Resident Advisor and Mixmag, plus coverage on other online magazines such as DJ Mag and Fact. She has landed increasingly more prominent gigs around the world, including globally known parties like Tresor, Boiler Room and Primavera Sound.

She is also a respected producer and has released several tracks on music labels such as K7 Records and Nervous Records. Pau’s passion for music and dedication to her craft have earned her a loyal fan base and a reputation as one of the most talented and versatile DJs in the industry.

She’s also the mother of house of paurro were she has featured lgbtttiq+ artists from around the world, she has organized events across the American continent and it has earned the reputation of being one of the best parties in Mexico City.
