Mihu has called Berlin’s underground home for over a decade. Deeply embedded in the city’s queer nightlife, he is the co-founder of the Awareness collective Queer Mama, and spent seven formative years helping shape the spirit of the former party Riot. That experience laid the foundation for the work that continues to define him today: creating intentional spaces rooted in care, connection, and collective expression, grounded in the belief that a well-held space can transform people and communities.
At the heart of Mihu’s approach is a commitment to kindness and clear communication. He sees these not as abstract values, but as essential tools for building trust and sustaining creative ecosystems. Whether developing a cultural project or facilitating collaboration, Mihu prioritizes environments where people feel grounded, respected, and able to show up fully.
This ethos extends beyond nightlife into the broader creative landscape of the city. Mihu launched Meerkat Digital, a community-based creative agency born from the queer community for the queer community. Through it, he creates structures that amplify voices often pushed to the margins, crafting narratives that reflect the complexity, joy, and resilience of queer culture.
Across projects such as Queer Mama and his work with Meerkat Digital, Mihu is dedicated to building platforms for the queer communities in Berlin. By connecting creatives, curators, and audiences, he contributes to a cultural infrastructure that supports visibility, sustainability, and collective growth.
