Mayashiba

At a time where dancefloors were divided mostly by House/Disco or Techno, Mayashiba always found beauty and inspiration on both dance floors. Living in Berlin from 2010 till 2020 and working in the music scene shaped her music knowledge and taste. Maya’s style isn’t easily categorized and constantly evolving, she love mixing genres and playing with tempos.. always with a strong emphasis on rhythms, percussions and taking you to path you would not expect. Perhaps you will have a full set of Bass club music with some hybrid techno and d&b, perhaps she will go into a deeper side of herself with an experimental ambient set, or maybe something else depending on her mood and the room. Mayashiba plays also Live, solo or with her studio partner Behzad, using her voice for a shamanic trip.
