Max Jurisch

MXJ's musical journey is deeply rooted in a familial legacy of sound, inspired by his father — a DJ and concert organizer from the '70s to the early 2000s. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of Screaming Jay Hawkins, Tina Turner, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Herbalizer, Depeche Mode, and LTJ Bukem, he developed an early appreciation for diverse sonic landscapes.

At 20, MXJ began his DJ career in Berlin, gradually carving out his own space with a sound that drifts between ambient textures, tribal rhythms, and the weight of dub and bass music. His sets are subtle yet immersive, weaving together influences from past and present.
