lou-kee

lou—kee is the solo project of Berlin-based sound designer Matas Gancevičius. The sound of lou—kee is both present and peripheral. Its textures explore light and dark: not as opposites, but as a coexistence. Born in Vilnius, co-founder of collective Art Cue and trained in classical piano for nine years before turning to electronic music. Matas also designs immersive sound — recent works include quad-sound for Faktura Studio’s art installation and being part of the sound design team for Paul Smith’s AW25 Fashion Show at Tokyo National museum.
