L.A. Evans

L. A. Evans is a writer, photographer, and political educator working at the intersection of theory and practice. They studied philosophy and political science in Berlin, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia, and are currently focused on Social Philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin. Their journalistic work has appeared in outlets such as Missy Magazine, taz, and Siegessäule, and their poetry is forthcoming in Philosophy of Sexual Violence and Wir haben keine Angst. They are editor at Butch-Femme Press Literary Journal. Luan co-leads the interdisciplinary research project Love, Friendship, and Revolution, which examines how relationality shapes political transformation. Their photographic practice focuses on (trans) masculinities and intersections of queerness and religion.
