Irish born, Manchester based Kerrie’s has been steadily pathing her trajectory in music for well over a decade, providing herself with a multi faceted education through DJ residencies, working at one of the UK’s most well respected record shops Eastern Bloc and applying herself passionately to music production and playing live on her chosen analog hardware set up; whilst delivering high impact results. Performing Live and DJing at events such as Freerotation, Warehouse Project, Tresor Berlin & Elsewhere NYC alongside some of her favourite artists pre pandemic, 2021 brings a new chapter in her career as she embarks on the international circuit with gigs lined up for destinations as far as Colombia.

More recently Kerrie also has launched her own imprint ‘Dark Machine Funk’ a representation of her distinct raw analog sound, with the first release being highly applauded with impressive reviews on sites such as RA and Inverted Audio. Kerrie has also released on various other well respected underground labels such as Don’t Be Afraid, Cultivated Electronics and I Love Acid to date and shows no sign of slowing down with 2021’s release schedule tightly packed.

As well as being a DJ, Live performer & producer, Kerrie is also an activist for community, authenticity and sharing knowledge. All factors are crucial to her part time role as events co ordinator at the Eastern Bloc events space; one of Manchester’s most loved venues where she focuses on booking, nurturing and developing local talent. Kerrie’s understanding of the importance of local scenes to a city most definitely stretch back to her early teenage years of raving in her home town of Cork, Ireland; which most definitely set the foundations for her current path in music.

Although only being in the public eye the past few years, Kerrie has been described as someone who comes across with the experience and presence of someone long invested in the culture, a statement which rings exceptionally true. Being tipped as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists and with the stage now being set with the launch of her imprint DMF and releases on other labels you can expect to hear an unwavering amount of music forthcoming from the Irish artist.
