Karin Leivategija

Karin has been academically exploring urban nightlife since 2016, beginning with her research into Estonia’s 1990s club culture. She works as a researcher and exhibition curator at the Estonian National Museum.

She was the head curator of the exhibition Who Claims the Night? (Estonian National Museum, 2024), which explored how people have experienced the night in Estonian cities throughout history and examined the multiple meanings of the contemporary night.
