Joe Appiah

A competing athlete, a qualified athletics coach, an Athlete Representative and UKA level 2 qualified Official. A multi World and European Masters Athletics champion. Main discipline of sprint hurdles and LJ. Current holder of M50 age group 60mH indoor and outdoor 100mH World Record. Also a recent Prostate Cancer survivor. Since his treatment in Sept 2021, has returned successfully to athletics to break the WR and support campaigns to raise more awareness in the community. Including BBC and other media appearances and wellbeing articles.
