Han-kyul Kwon

Han-kyul Kwon has been exploring music as an emotional environment and the act of listening to build psychological space, paying attention to how music or sound relates to individual or collective identity and belonging. He has been particularly interested in subcultural forms of music and spatially organized background music, abstracting their elements and emphasizing their sonic and structural qualities through recordings, live electronics, and DJing performances.
