Gösta Wellmer

Gösta Wellmer has spent twenty years designing electronic instruments, twelve at Native Instruments, where he helped shape Maschine, the Traktor controllers, and Komplete Kontrol, and three at Elektron, where he led design of Syntakt. He now works as a product and design consultant for music technology companies, teaches at SRH Berlin, and co-runs the Product Audio Jam meetup. He has performed improvised electronic music since 2000, solo and as the duo Distinct Memories.
