GLAU

DJ and music producer, Glau has built a solid career in DJing and stands out as one of the key figures in Rio de Janeiro's clubbing scene. A resident at Kode (RJ), his musical research explores pulsating, percussive, and urban sounds within electronic music. His sets are marked by originality and the ability to weave together different genres, blending rhythm and intensity seamlessly.

Glau brings the roots of funk carioca as a core element in the construction of his sets—whether through music itself or in the groove and personality he infuses into every performance. He moves effortlessly between styles like electro, techno, bass, and house, in constant dialogue with funk, with a unique ability to merge them.

His Boiler Room set is a celebration of culture, music, funk carioca, and Rio’s identity, showcasing how the city turns night into day and music into a collective and transformative experience. As a music producer, he has released tracks on labels such as Kode, Baphyana, and Algol, and is currently preparing his debut EP, set to be released in the first half of 2025.

As a DJ, he has shared the stage with major names in the scene such as Badsista, DJ Marky, Jensen Interceptor, Ananda, Eris Drew, and Octa Octa, among others. He has performed at renowned parties and festivals including Batekoo, Mamba Negra (SP), Bassiani x Kode, Masterplano (BH), Festival COMA (BSB), Festa até as 4, Festival MITA, Doce Maravilha, Festival Sensacional (BH), and more. Beyond Brazil, Glau has taken his sound to 7 European capitals and performed twice at the Boiler Room Festival (UK).
