Fabio Wolkenstein

Fabio Wolkenstein has been DJing and collecting music for more than 20 years. He is the co-founder of Edition Hawara, a Vienna-based label that reissues Austrian jazz, disco and funk from the 1980s. As a DJ, Fabio is naturally drawn to dubby analogue music that sounds best with the lights turned off. His new project with Aleksandra Marr is called Between Us: an event and radio series created to foster more intimate spaces for soulful music. As part of the series, Aleksandra and Fabio have hosted artists such as Trujillo, Ed Longo and Maurice Fulton. They also regularly perform together across Europe in listening bars, clubs, and festivals.
