DJ Strawberry

DJ Strawberry is a music producer, DJ, and curator based in Berlin and Istanbul. His recent works are specialized on a catalog of 160 bpm dance music such as juke, minimal footwork, and ghetto house. He is affiliated with the Wroclaw-based "footwork/juke science club" Outlines Label, Japan-based Omoide Label. His debut album, which encompasses a wide range of sounds from field recordings to acoustic bass lines to primitive loopworks will be released in fall 2022 on their catalog.

Strawberry is also the founder of Istanbul-based live-coding collective 'Algorave Istanbul' that has been creating many events in the local scene, and has been performing in international festivals including Sónar Festival Istanbul, and Network Music Festival. Furthermore, he curates the compilation album series under the name of Algorave Istanbul: Thread #iter, which currently has four albums and involves sixteen artists, and counting.
