Dark Side of the Moon Festival

The story of the Dark Side of the Moon Festival starts almost 9 years ago, with the small community behind club HALL in Tallinn. 

The story begins in a moment of collapse: there was supposed to be a festival called Moonland, planned in a surreal landscape called Rummu karjäär but just weeks before it was meant to happen, the project was cancelled - while most of the artists were already booked and paid for. Artists like DVS1, Boys Noize,  Octo Octa, Boris, Dana Ruh were already on the lineup.

So the decision was made then and there - lets move the festival that is supposed to be happening in two weeks into then newly opened club in Tallinn - HALL - and take the risk.

That last-minute shift became the beginning of a pivotal moment for the scene today - something built from circumstance, community and a certain persistence that defines this region.

This year, the festival takes place from 14th August to 16th of August 2026.
