Cmba

Cmba is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, known for expanding the language of performance through a dynamic interplay of musical styles and intensities. Moving fluidly between dance floors, radio shows, and sound design for cultural and fashion institutions, Cmba has presented work at spaces including the iconic Oscar Niemeyer Museum, designing soundtracks for fashion brands such as Noir Division. Cmba’s club and festival sets weave House, Bass, Hip-Hop, UK Garage into intricate, high-energy narratives, while his experimental side delves into Ambient, Indie, and abstract soundscapes. A resident of Berlin’s community Refuge Worldwide, he also curates Skew, a collective for forward-thinking label nights, releases and sonic experimentation worldwide, and co-founded Quiet Place Radio. The artist has performed and organized numerous events across Europe and Brazil, performing in world emblematic venues such as Renate, Panke, Kwia, Macro, and Giri, sharing stages with various artists and continuing to push the boundaries of sound.
