Aïda Camprubí

Aïda Camprubí is a communications specialist and cultural manager. She was the artistic director of BAM Festival from 2020 to 2025, as part of the Afluent cooperative. She programmed the music industry talks at Primavera Pro (Primavera Sound) from 2020 to 2021 and was the venue booker of La (3) at Sala Apolo from 2017 to 2020. She curated the exhibition Urban Music, Pop, and High Culture at the Longoria Palace, headquarters of the SGAE (Spanish Society of Authors and Publishers), in Madrid. She hosted Boiler Room in Spain, collaborated with Radio 3, and presented music shows on betevé, Barcelona's public television station, for over five years. She also works as a screenwriter and music supervisor. She has published several forewords and essays on counterculture, music politics, and club culture with Plaza & Janés, Bartlebooth, and Anagrama. She writes cultural criticism for Vogue, Rockdelux, El Salto, and El País, with a focus on an affective network and intersectional feminism and/or alliances.
