ABIBA started DJing thanks to her mentorship under Femme Bass Mafia. Shifting from dancing in crowds to making crowds dance, ABIBA now has the platform to share her music in different formats, whether she's playing twerkable bangers in her club sets or smooth alternative RnB & Neo Soul mixes as a Refuge Worldwide resident. ABIBA’s club sound is highly energetic. She taps into electronic music genres in the widest sense, mixing Hip Hop club edits, with Baile Funk, Afrobeats, Gqom, Jersey Club, Drill and more. After showcasing her eclectic sound at HÖR, club gigs at OHM and OXI, as well as performances at Splash! and Fusion Festival, ABIBA is winning a growing audience. Only two years after beginning her DJ career, she played her Boiler Room debut in November 2023.
