This episode Ella is joined by Rahel and Eskinder, owners of Adot Kitchen, a newly opened Ethiopian brunch cafe on Friedelstraße that serves food and coffee over the weekend and into Monday. Rahel brings her authentic Ethiopian cooking to the table focusing on gluten-free and vegan foods and promotes the art of Teff, a gluten-free grain used primarily for Injera, the traditional Ethiopian pancake-like flatbread. Eskinder focuses on the speciality coffee front where he works with local Ethiopian coffee farmers and roasts the beans right here in Berlin. They both love providing people with the true Ethiopian experience from the coffee ceremonies to the food, and together they are making magic.
Join Ella, Rahel and Eskinder as they chat about Ethiopian culture, stories about food traditions, and the ins and outs of Injera, alongside some amazing music from local jazz and soul legends.
