Flip The Script | Nicky Böhm, Phileas & Mo Nemaei

With Nicky Böhm

The 5th episode of Flip The Script explores how music can be a vital tool for social justice activism. Mo Nemaei is a Persian rapper, producer and sound designer based in Berlin, who uses his music to highlight human rights abuses. Phileas' creative practice has been shaped by his experiences volunteering at refugee camps and he addresses these issues in his songs.

Mo and Phileas also have first-hand experience with Germany's asylum system. Mo spent time at the Eisenhüttenstadt refugee camp in Brandenburg and Phileas is part of Refugee Berlin e.V's legal advisory team.
