xcuse:u was founded last year by Ele, Kiki, Freya and Chiara with the motivation to take progressive steps for a more inclusive club culture. With their events dedicated to the political aspects of club culture - such as representation, empowerment, safer spaces and raising awareness about discrimination, they want to create community spaces where people can inform and raise awareness through workshops on (queer) feminist issues. xcuse:u wants to show that it is possible to make club nights safer, more discrimination-free and more solidary. The representation of flinta* artists is clearly in the foreground - but the events are open to allies of all genders.
