Uffe

Blending dusty-sounding samples and live instrumentation into jazz and downtempo-inflected house music, Copenhagen-based Danish producer Uffe Christensen began making music when he was ten years old. Moving to Copenhagen in his late teens, he became part of the city's IDM scene as a DJ and booker, releasing music under the alias Nabo. However, Christensen felt this project didn't truly represent his artistic vision and after a break from making music, he began recording as Uffe in 2011 while living in Berlin.

Releases have come through Tartelet Records, home to LPs Radio Days and No!, and most recently he's found a new home for his creations in London label On the Corner, an imprint which specialises in “genre breaking, border crossing bangers from beyond.”
