Tmnit is Eritrean, born and raised in southern Germany. She is co-founder of the Berlin label and platform ALVOZAY and works herself as DJ and music curator.cultural producer .Her sets predominantly feature music from independent artists across the African continent and its diasporas. Her sound embodies the richness and energy of global Black music culture. By blending diverse musical styles,House, Rap, Ghetto Tech, Footwork,R&B Disco, Zouk – you name it, Tmnit aims to create a bridge between different genres of music, with her artistic work often framed by broader political and social themes.
