Teya Logos brings a harshly militant edge to her productions, an echo of her own focus on the colonised, the queer, and the struggles of women. Her productions meld grim blasts of noise with ferocious hardcore, cacophonous noise, and budots—a grassroots variation on EDM emerging from Davao City, regarded as the first »Filipino-fied« electronic music and created as a soundtrack to the street dance of the same name. Fresh off a solid year including touring through Asia and Australia and DJing Boiler Room Manila, she’s bringing her radical sounds back to CTM for the first time since 2020’s virtual Minecraft party with Club Matryoshka.
