Sol Tornasol

Sol Tornasol has been DJing since 2018. With the arrival of the pandemic and the uprising in Colombia in 2020, she became involved musically with various forms of demonstration and resistance, playing at balls, mobile platforms and on live streams. It was during this time that she was drawn to Latin club rhythms like guaracha, dembow and neoperreo mixed with hard dance styles like hard house and trance.

Sol seeks to politicize the dance floor by opening spaces for all types of bodies and sexualities, giving visibility to musical genres produced particularly by women and people of dissident identities from Latin America.
