Encompassing multiple aspects of the new digital age, Sky Deep issues an undeniably captivating output. The Berlin-based artist wears many hats & this time her love for music, community and education come to the forefront with her new bi-monthly radio show. During Station Restoration, expect learning and time travel through music and interviews, where she bridges sounds from the historic origins of genres which were launched in communities of color and travels through time bringing listeners to artists of now. Much more than a straight up DJ / Producer, Sky Deep’s career has seen her span roles as label head, festival curator, promoter, film producer, touring performer, sound engineer, university lecturer and soon to be VR Game producer. A proud activist in the LGBTQ+ community Sky has launched her own club-night Letz Be On as well as curating a festival titled Reclaim The Beats. Sky’s previous releases on her own Reveller Records, have seen her gain strong support across the dance music scene yet her musical origins are rooted in live musicianship in various genres as well as HipHop. Known for creating connection, freedom of self and joyful passion on the dance floor through her performances, Sky was invited by Peaches last year to join her on tour as core-multi-instrumentalist and Midi Director. Continuing to push boundaries, Sky Deep is an artist to aspire to; always finding new ways to explore her creativity.
