Rafush

Berlin-based Dj, Host, Curator, Activist and Graphic Artist Rafa Cunha, aka Rafush, claims their space throughout the club scene. An artist who can quickly change platforms to express themselves and fight for what they believe.They see an urgent need for more diversity, and awareness in club culture. "Before techno became white and hedonistic, it was black and politically conceived —a byproduct of African-American struggle, and a form of protest. Underground resistance was in no way a euphemism but a reality. They engage in a more intentional, aware, and political club culture. Co-founding two collectives in Berlin: the afro futuristic collective Yoko Yoko, which engages in increasing black representation in Berlin’s club scene.
