Occcur is Philipp Hülsenbeck, an electro-acoustic polymath, tinkerer, club music wizard and one of the founders of Unguarded who has previously performed under many monikers for over a decade. Sporting a new alias, Occcur, he is bringing his playful but refined touch to experimental club music. Hülsenbeck has been tirelessly working as a sound designer, composer and engineer - his love of music in all its auditory shapes and shades expresses itself in his sprawling compositions, which combine influences from all across the spectrum and are as hard-hitting as they are deeply felt.
