Max the Black

Max the Black is the founder of Turnschuh, the one and only skate shop in The Bahamas, and an influential figure in the 700-island nation‘s alternative music scene. The store, influenced by Max’s German and Bahamian roots, developed into an underground spot for live music and parties, where he started spinning records from his father‘s and grandfather‘s collections.
