Malika Mahmoud

Malika Mahmoud is a DJ and music curator based in Copenhagen. Malika’s mixes and music selection are characterized by an ever-expanding curiosity. Her selection is driven by melodic sounds and vocals sometimes disguised in cheeky club remixes. She challenges the idea of singularity by jumping in tempo and genre, often mixing dancehall, hard drum, reggaeton, techno, dembow, trance, amapiano, breaks all together in an expression of her ambiguity being Danish, Zanzibarian and Colombian.
