Lydia Gratis

Lydia Gratis is an Ireland-based multi-award-winning social entrepreneur, grassroots community organiser, and founder of Saved By The Sign (SBTS), a global initiative dedicated to social justice and social inclusion focusing on global BIPOC Deaf communities. Her work is rooted in storytelling, education, policy, advocacy, and creating spaces where further marginalised people are amplified and real change happens. Lydia serves on several boards in Ireland and around Europe, she is the former president of the European Union Of The Deaf Youth. Lydia believes in Ubuntu, the power of interdependence, community, connection, and bold conversations that challenge the norm.
