Lo Moran

Lo Moran creates interdisciplinary projects that are often participatory, collaborative and co-authored. They aim to experiment with and question the systems we are all embedded in by organizing situations of connection, openness and nonhierarchical learning. Lo desires to develop sites for accessibility, and reimagined ways of being together. A graduate of the Art and Social Practice program at Portland State University, they spent 2018-19 as Artist in Residence at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they researched concepts of community. Lo was also a member of the collective Public Annex, and performs experimental music as soft fantasy. They take karaoke seriously and try their best to embrace fluidity and chaos.
