Leart Rama

Leart Rama is a film director from Kosovo who found his calling in sound design. Growing up making films, he discovered a raw and intimate connection between his scripts and the music he listened to. With a thirst for knowledge, he got himself in different styles of electronic music, exploring the far reaches of the genre and unlocking new levels of interest.

Using bold contrasts and fearless expression, Leart's DJ sets and films are a reflection of life itself characterized with the harshest noise to the most ethereal ambient, he pushes the boundaries and takes his audience on a personal journey.

Leart is the curator of one of the region's biggest festivals, Dokunights. He is also the founder of Katarzë Films and the newest label/collective in Prishtina, Kosovo, called blissblissbliss, dedicated to bringing new stories and sounds to his hometown.
