Hassan Kamil

Hassan Kamil is a Sudanese photographer, filmmaker, and curator. He is a storyteller who uses both still and motion imagery to convey his messages. His work focuses on personal projects that explore humanitarian, cultural, historical, and political subjects, providing a unique and insightful perspective. Over the past seven years, he has worked on various projects in Sudan, ranging from photo stories to short documentaries. His work has been published in GQ Middle East and Andariya Magazine. Additionally, his work was featured on the cover of African Lens Volume 6 and Boy.Brother.Friend Volume 7. Hassan collaborated with COSMOS-Le Guess Who? music festival in 2021 and 2022 to showcase the rich tapestry of Sudanese music and culture.
