Giorgi Kikonishvili

Giorgi Kikonishvili is one of Georgia’s most outspoken Gay activists, journalist, publicist and music promoters. His work and collaborative initiatives in the fields of writing, civil activism, music and club culture interplay with each other to investigate, study and present the social and cultural issues from queer/feminist and non-dominant perspectives. He’s the co-founder and board member of Equality movement; Author of project Muzame - curating the live performances of alternative/DIY artists in Tbilisi. Co-founder of Horoom Nights – prominent Queer party series at BASSIANI; Author and initiator of Spectrum - a creative collective of artists, researchers and publicists who study and elaborate the non-dominant cultural thoughts and practices.
