EVEHIVE

Eve Tavares, born and raised in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, is the mind behind the EVEHIVE project.

A prominent presence as a music producer and DJ in electronic music and the ballroom community. With his brand “Global Kunt”, he has already performed in many Brazilian states and neighboring countries such as Argentina and Chile.

His research into Afro-diasporic rhythms led him to perform at Boiler Room Ballantine’s in Johannesburg, South Africa, in a historic back-to-back set with BADSISTA.

In 2024, he embarked on his first European tour, where he explored new dance floors such as Querfeld, Tresor, and RSO in Germany, Color Factory in London, and Outra Cena in Lisbon. He also performed at parties in Dublin, Hamburg and Porto.

Currently living in São Paulo, his productions have shone on stages like Mamba Negra, Batekoo Festival, Dekmantel X Gop Tun, Carlos Capslock, and Casa Natura Musical. In recent years, he has collaborated with artists such as AjuliaCosta, Irmãs de Pau, Linn Da Quebrada, and Tássia Reís. He was a DJ and backing vocalist for Sodomita on the Favela Stage at Rock in Río and was part of the band that accompanied the artist Jup Do Bairro in her performances at festivals like Popload, Turá, and Lollapalooza. EVEHIVE also performed on both weekends of the Boiler Room X Rock The Mountain Festival in 2023.

For over 10 years, EVEHIVE has been the creator and conductor of sounds that reflect Brazil and the African Diaspora.
