Emory

Emory is the solo project of multi-disciplinary artist, writer and producer Emma Wellons based in Nashville, New York and Berlin. Born and raised near Tennessee farmland, she started playing drums in church and as her curiosity grew she started recording music with everything she could get her hands on. Anything from acoustic guitars to modular synths is free game for Wellons. She then moved to Brooklyn to study at NYU Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, growing a reputation producing for artists from all over the world in genres stretching from rap to folk. Now in Berlin, she is exploring electronic experimentation and making alternative music for her debut artist project ‘Emory’ that draws from her wide musical taste and falls nicely in between genres.
