Cênî

Cênî – Kurdish Women’s Bureau for Peace is a transnational feminist organisation rooted in the Kurdish freedom movement. Active for over two decades, Cênî supports grassroots organising by Kurdish women across all four parts of Kurdistan and in the diaspora — through political education, anti-militarist work, and international solidarity.

Cênî sees women*’s liberation as inseparable from anti-colonial and ecological struggle. Its work is guided by the principle Jin, Jiyan, Azadî — Women*, Life, Freedom — and aims to build bridges between movements, communities, and generations.
